- This set of slides shows the menus and the methods used to “Find & Identify” peaks normally found in a wide scan survey spectrum
- There are two ways to find and identify the peaks, “Automated” and “Manual”. Both methods are demonstrated.
- The “Spectral Lines” look-up table which can be customized by the user is used to help identify weak signals and peaks from insulating samples
- The “Atom % Composition Table” and some of its capabilities are shown
- The ability to generate atom % tables from narrow scan spectra is briefly demonstrated
- The ability to modify the RSF values by using an exponential function is shown
- The ability to charge compensate (correct) for positive or negative charge states is briefly reviewed
